The investment was spearheaded by Mfusion. Cometa CEO, Rob Anderson, commented that they are looking forward to cooperating with Mfusion.

Following the additional capital, Cometa also announced that they will be changing their name from Cometa Games to Cometa Wireless Gaming Systems.
Cometa, which offers casino table games for mobile phones, was formed in 2004. The company offers games like Blackjack, Joker Poker, Casino Roulette, Cops and Robbers, Adders and Ladders and Bingo.

The Asia Pacific Market is expected to be the dominant market by that time. The region will also be the source of almost 60% of the total profits of the gaming market, with the European Continent contributing 31%, the North American Market contributing 22% and the remaining 9% between South America and the other parts of the world.
